In the IGI & also on several trees on Ancestry.com, there is a William Exton, born 28-8-1860 who is listed as the son of George & Prynn Exton of Mamlsbury. I can find no evidence to support this. There is no birth registration of a William in Mamlsbury in 1860 & he does not appear on any census with George & Prynn. There is a William Exton in the 1900, 1910 & 1920 USA census, who was born in England in 1855 & married Lillian Hempsall, but I cannot see any connection to George or Malmesbury.
